Monica Wolf serves as co-founder and CFO of LaTech Security.  Monica ensures LaTech is aligned with all applicable state and federal guidelines for the Life Safety Industry.  She has served on the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association (LLSSA) board for many years, helping shape the industry in Louisiana.   Under Monica’s guidance LaTech has established itself as a leader in surveillance, access control, and License Plate Readers.

Monica’s entrepreneurial spirit first emerged in 1981 when she entered the world of contract diagnostic ultrasound.  She achieved an impressive five certifications in the field, proving her commitment to becoming an expert in her field of work.  Another business venture, a tanning salon, consistently ranked in the top ten franchises in the region.

That same drive to succeed led LaTech Security to its pivotal role in introducing License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to the Louisiana State Police and other law enforcement agencies throughout the state, contributing to the safety of all Louisiana citizens.

Monica’s diverse interests outside of work, including scuba diving, fishing, gardening, biking, and cooking, shape her as a well-rounded individual. These passions not only provide balance in her life but also contribute to her unique perspective.  She also serves as a board member for the Louisiana Entrepreneurial Organization (EO) among other professional development organizations.

Leland Wolf serves as co-founder and CTO of LaTech Security.   His role is to maintain LaTech’s leadership and innovation in the life safety industry for our region.  His industry relationships forged over a lifetime in the low-voltage industry keep him abreast of innovative technology that can benefit our clients and community.  He helps train LaTech Security staff in low-voltage installation and troubleshooting standards that ensure our systems are reliable and stand the test of time.

Leland is the Pioneer, Visionary, and Founding Member of our journey.   Armed with over two decades in the security industry, he started rewriting the playbook in 2000.  From shunning VCRs to embracing IP video to introducing License plate readers to Louisiana Leland has always had an innate curiosity of technology and how to apply to it business challenges. 

His consultative approach and market foresight are his secret weapons.  Collaborative to the core, he believes in partnering, not just pitching prospective clients.  His technical knowledge is augmented by humor and building relationships that transcend beyond business transactions.

Outside of business you can find Leland capturing stories with his photographic lens since ‘68 and joining his wife on their many outdoor excursions both on the water, on land, and under the sea.

Faron is a Design Virtuoso and Seasoned Security Expert.  As the operations manager with over a quarter-century in the security domain, Faron’s journey speaks of precision. His commitment to installation standards and continual training ensures that the LaTech team are constantly improving their knowledge in our products and industry.

Faron has worked with multiple security companies in Louisiana throughout his career.  This has given him a breadth of experiences to share with the LaTech team.  From surveillance, access control and burglar alarms, Faron has seen every type of project that our clients request.  He is committed to accuracy in planning and design that ensure positive outcomes on projects. 

Faron’s personal time is mostly spent engaging his passion as a professional photographer.  He takes the same pride in his artistic endeavors as he does in his personal life, as is evident in his extensive portfolio of the same happy clients that he strives to create at LaTech.

Kristina Murdock, a professional of the IT landscape with over 20 years of experience, is the IT Manager for LaTech Security.  She leads the software side of our business.  As surveillance and access control systems have moved to the cloud and become more software intensive, Kristina ensures that LaTech Security and its clients remain ahead of the curve.  She is dedicated to maximizing the capabilities of each system that we deploy ensuring clients get the best ROI on their investment.

Having spent 16 years of her 25 years in technology within the realm of Public Safety, she honed her public safety understanding with a Fire District in southern Arizona.  Kristina thrives in the world of data and research, piecing together intricate puzzles to unveil actionable insights. Her remarkable achievements include becoming the go-to expert for fire and EMS record management systems, guiding numerous agencies to successful configurations and implementations. An advocate of comprehensive understanding, Kristina’s approach emphasizes collaboration and knowledge sharing ensuring LaTech clients understand their systems and how they can be leveraged for actionable improvements in the safety of their organizations.

Kristina loves spending time with her new grandchildren and when we can get her out of the office, she enjoys riding the Louisiana countryside on her Harley with her friends.
