LaTech’s Monica Wolf Attends The Louisiana Life, Safety, and Security Conference

LaTech’s Monica Wolf recently attended the Louisiana Life, Safety, and Security Conference in Kenner, LA. Monica is the Vice President of Region 2 (Baton Rouge).

The event was a huge success. Through great leadership and member participation, the local association was able to have its annual event with 85 vendors and over 550 attendees!

“This annual convention is the rock of our industry in Louisiana”, said Wolf. LLSSA has been around since 1990 and provides education, legislative lobbying, and industry updates to both members and nonmembers.

Monica always purchases raffle tickets and gives them to the LaTech employees. This year she won ($500) and gave it to Dennis Couch. Dennis has been with the company for 15 years.

The conference provides the necessary CEUs required by the Louisiana State Fire Marshal by offering over 20 sponsored CEU courses. It also provides industry trends to busy owners/technicians to keep them updated with state information.

The State Fire Marshal provided a side-by-side burn demonstration where attendees were able to witness a contained fire with and without sprinklers. It’s a very impressive and eye-opening experience.

The event’s accompanying golf tournament on Wednesday had a great turnout with nearly 80 participants. The beautiful weather that day just added to the fun.
